Blast Premier have announced that no Russian teams will be allowed in their events

BLAST Premier - one of the top CS:Go Leagues with base in Copenhagen, Denmark, have announced that no Russian-based teams will be allowed to attend any of their events for the “foreseeable future,” as well as noting that they have canceled the upcoming CIS Qualifiers that were scheduled for March 25th, featuring Russian-based teams like forZe and others, which are all now banned from participating. In a post on their Twitter, BLAST Premier explained that “Gaming and esports unites people from all races, countries, and beliefs. We hope the situation on the world stage reflects this as soon as possible.”

Valve have “indefinitely postponed” the DPC Eastern European Spring Tour

Due to the current events, with Russia invading Ukraine, Valve have decided to indefinitely postpone the upcoming 2022 Dota Pro Circuit Spring Tour for teams in Eastern Europe, as they told the DPC’s organizer in the region EPICENTER - who reported it on their Twitter. EPICENTER explained that they “have been informed by Valve that the DPC Eastern European Spring Tour is postponed indefinitely,” and that they “will be back soon with details on the new start dates for open qualifications and the main part of the regional tournament.” Given that over half of the players in the region are Russian, and 10 are Ukrainian, it is no big surprise that Valve has made this decision.

Riot has revealed a whole new set of Anima Squad skins!

While Riven already had an original Battle Bunny skin, it has been revamped to a new Battle Bunny Prime skin. Rawkus is no longer coaching VALORANT team Sentinels and is now looking to join a team as a player

Former Overwatch League star and recent coach in VALORANT teams FaZe and Sentinels Shane "Rawkus" Flaherty has announced on his Twitter that he is no longer coaching Sentinels as, despite the team’s interest in hiring him as a full-time Coach, both organizations did not reach an agreement, and thus he is returning to FaZe for the time being. However, that is not all: Rawkus has decided to move on from his role as a coach and return to the frontlines, announcing that he is now looking for a team as a player, and that he has “only gotten better since taking a break, being able to change environments and watching them play has made me see the game in a completely new perspective and I'm extremely excited to return.”

The Steam Deck is being delivered (by none other than Gabe Newell himself) and there are already plans for a Steam Deck 2!

With Valve’s new handheld PC -the Steam Deck- having begun shipping last week, some Reddit users have reported that they were visited by CEO of Valve himself, Gabe Newell, followed by an entire camera crew. Whether this is true or not remains to be seen, but it wouldn’t be unlikely for Valve to be making a promo shoot of Gabe (which was then released on a YouTube video) delivering the Steam Deck himself, as was reported by bitfiddler0 and SeattleRainPidgeons on Reddit. That is not all, however, as Gabe also told EDGE magazine during an interview that they are already working on a successor for the Steam Deck - a more powerful version of the handheld in terms of hardware.
